The phrase “A people with no land is a people with no future” echoes with profound truth, especially in agriculture. Black American farmers were purposely deprived of rightful access to land, resources, and opportunities. In response to generations of disparities and broken promises, the National Black Farmers Association stepped forward and filed a $5 billion lawsuit against the USDA.
